From my experience of working with corporate for over 15 years, I know that leaders need to significantly raise their consciousness to flourish in this new era. Corporate has the biggest shift to make and organisations cannot evolve beyond where their senior leaders are. Embodiment is a major blind spot in (corporate) leadership development and our everyday experience. At the same time, the most direct path to raising consciousness and human evolution is through the body, not the head.
At PresenceAtWork, we guide leaders in improving their leadership from the inside out. I consider myself an 'alchemist' for higher vision leadership: working with leaders to integrate their emotional, physical, mental and spiritual responses all at once. Only if leaders up-level their BEing from the inside out, they will experience deep fulfilment and empowerment. When they start leading from the heart and adopt ‘Love’ as their signature, they naturally facilitate the circumstances for people to thrive and feel compelled to contribute to the greater good.

We strongly believe in the concept of “Pay it forward”. This is how we can touch as many people as possible with our work, as we are a training organisation without (many) trainers. After getting started with the key leaders, we support clients to enable large-scale and sustainable culture change with our train-the-trainer solutions and licensing models. We also involve our clients and ambassadors to support other organisations cross-industry.
Collective Leadership is the next big thing.
Collective Leadership is a no-brainer. Just as electric cars are the future, Collective Leadership is the next big thing. It’s what we have always wanted as human beings. We are never going to survive if management keeps dictating left, right and centre. There is no other way.
I was longing for a different way to empower people and make a difference in their lives. In the retreat, as I made my leadership declaration, I also left something behind: the fear of stating my feelings and the impact that would have. That created a huge shift in me. I thought then that this was the key to empowering people to be their best.
We’ve brought the programme into three divisions of the company now. As we roll it out, I am extremely proud and amazed. You have no idea what companies and people are capable of. I could never have imagined this was possible. You cannot be too ambitious, nor set the bar too high.
When people ask me about what I did with Collective Leadership, I emphasise that it’s not about PresenceAtWork; PresenceAtWork is just the means to an end. It’s important that you first ask yourself: what do you long for?
