Thanks to the Collective Leadership programme I have learned to tame my impatience and to dare to slow down in the here and now. I realised that by slowing down I get there faster. Because I am more present, I radiate peace, and people feel that I am genuinely interested in their motives and thoughts.

I have seen this shift also taking place within Ardanta. Unlike other pro- grammes that get lost once you are back in the daily routine, this programme has really stuck. We have moved away from our ‘to-do’ mentality and more towards ‘being’. This means that we consciously make time available to reflect on important questions. The programme has brought me, and the organisation, inner peace. In addition, people and departments are much keener to co-create.

The LBSI assessment is an essential part of the programme that helps employ- ees gain insight into themselves and each other. If you know where each other’s talents lie, what that means and what pace fits those talents, then you have a lot more understanding of each other. More understanding of each other leads to better performance.
