I got to know my colleagues in a different way, which has created a strong team bond
The start of the retreat with team felt a bit uncomfortable, to be honest. Exposing yourself is not something you do every day, certainly not with colleagues. Fortunately, the programme is designed in such a way that this soon changed and everyone felt comfortable to open up. It helped us to get to know each other on a different, deeper level. Weeks later you can still see the impact in the Into Control workplace and at our customers and projects. We know each other's motivations and preferences, so we understand each other better and complement each other where necessary.
On a personal level, I've been able to embrace more of who I am and why I do what I do. I already knew what I was good at, but I regularly got annoyed with myself about things I was less good at. Thanks to my LBSI profile, I now understand better why I am less good at that. It is now a matter of developing my qualities and accepting my weaknesses.
I look forward to a follow-up retreat to get to know my colleagues and myself from yet another angle and further strengthen our bond. The Collective Leadership retreat is very valuable for both your private life and work. I am convinced that this experience would deliver positive results for every team and company on multiple levels!
